Graphics were done during apprenticeship with Ong Shunmugam for Cruise 2016 collection. Concept, designs, garments and images belong to Ong Shunmugam.

Brief: Contemporary, chic. 

This label does an amazing job combining traditional asian fabrics and modern silhouettes, so it came naturally that I should break down the batik prints from the dress into motifs. To keep it contemporary, I stuck to the usual minimalist rule - lots of empty spaces with as little colours as possible. 

White was chosen for 2 reasons - contrast with the background and more importantly, it is picked from the dress to create a visually cohesive image.​​​​​​​
